Introduction:-
Alberobello is a small town and comune of the Metropolitan City of Bari, Apulia, southern Italy. A UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its unique Trulli houses.
Highlights:
1) Visit Monti if you’re into mid-century decor, small Italian designers, ceramics, and cozy wine bars. The neighborhood is more atmospheric than monumental—a nice break from Rome’s more frequented historical destinations.
2) Visiting the Trullo Sovrano, the largest Trulli house. Just a little northward from the main church, lays the so called “Trullo Sovrano”. This is the highest level of the trullo’s building technique, in facts, even if has been built following the building rules imposed by the Count Giangirolamo Acquaviva, this is the only trullo built with two livable floors.
Travel Tips:
1) Stay in a Trulli hotel for a unique experience.
2) Best time to visit: Early summer for fewer crowds.
